  This is my first time seeking counseling. I did not know what to expect, but I knew that in order for me to confront and tackle my personal issues I needed Bible based services. Dr. Ramos fits the bill. He is a caring Christian who seeks Christ's guidance. Through him, God has helped me to see how some of my flaws and past traumas continue to affect my behaviors today. By facing these issues head on, and turning them all over to God, my life is changing for the better.

 Dr. Edward has been a truly positive influence on my life and my marriage. Through Bible-based processes, thoughtful discussion, reflection, and practical exercises, he has helped me confront and rebuke destructive behaviors—such as lust, indulgence, negative self-talk, and reluctance to forgive. He has also guided me in recognizing unhealthy relationships and building a stronger, more faithful foundation in every area of my life. Through my regular sessions with him, I have grown in my understanding of myself, my relationship with God, my marriage, and relationships as a whole. For the first time, I feel a deep sense of peace and faithful direction that I had never experienced before. Dr. Edward is both stern and compassionate. He is calm, caring, and honest in his approach—sharing wisdom and guidance when it is most needed.  I was diligently searching and in need of a Christian and Bible based counselor when I came across Dr. Ramos. Since then I have consistently received immensely valuable Bible based guidance and specific situational instruction and practical application tools in wisdom. I have experienced identifiable transformation in my life in areas such as addiction to alcohol, pornography, negatively influencing relationships with friends and family, pre-marital counseling with my fiancée, and my spiritual life and personal relationship with God.  Every counselor I've been to has suggested sobriety is the answer. Once you are sober your good. It was so easy to fall back because there was no support. With Dr. Ramos' spiritual process, I feel accountable to God our Father. It's way to hard to fool God . I used to dread going to counseling because I wasn't transparent and was wasting everyone's time because it was just a check in the box. No longer. Because of Doc's prayers and tools he has giving me my marriage is becoming new and real for the first time. Patients and persistency are the answer. I can't wait to see what my marriage is going to look like in the future and it's been a long time since I could honestly say that. Thanks Doc

  Dr. Ramos is truly a blessing & the hand of God works through him, glory to God. Feeling comfortable enough to speak freely but still get firm correction has been truly eye opening. Being led to pray and what to pray for and what to do/change within my daily life is proving to make a difference especially with inviting Holy Spirit in every little thing I do. Dr. Ramos has been very helpful so far with furthering my walk with Christ and my healing.

Dr. Ramos has an unbelievable way of getting to the core of your problems in a nonjudgmental fashion. His advice is all Christ centered and sound. When I first contacted Light Christian Counseling, I was suffering from severe anxiety, which felt like I was having a heart attack. Within two sessions I received the tools needed to overcome this anxiety. Since then we have been discussing many other issues that I have carried for over 50 years. I highly recommend Dr. Ramos, in my case he truly was a Godsend.

  I have been a client of Dr. Ramos for some months now, I was battling extreme spiritual warfare, personal/relationship, marital conflicts ,etc. I thank GOD for leading me to him because in the beginning I felt extremely hopeless, afraid and unsure of what the future held for me. With a lot of time , patience, reminders, encouragement, correction and listening God was able to help me through my storm with Dr. Ramos, not saying it's over but I am definitely better compared to where I was.   Dr. Ramos was a big blessing. I started sessions by myself when I thought my marriage was over. Little did I know that Dr. Ramos was giving me spiritual tools that would help me see things from a spiritual perspective. My husband and I got back together and Dr. Ramos continued to counsel the both of us. He used different exercises and resources that helped the reconciliation process. Dr. Ramos is surely being used by God to help couples like us.

Dr. Ramos is truly a blessing. I appreciate how THE LORD led me to him to receive the specific help that I needed; spiritually and mentally. As a Christian going through a rough season, I really do thank GOD for these HOLY SPIRIT led sessions that have brought healing, encouragement , guidance through prayer and from The Bible. I thank GOD that Dr. Ramos has been very straight forward, patient and very keen on listening to address certain points of interest to bring forth healing through the leading of our LORD GOD. Ive never felt judged or rejected. I know he has a lot on his plate but Dr. Ramos has accommodated me and made time to help me in this really tough time.  I came to Dr. Ramos from a referral of a client who experienced success with the sessions. My sessions with Dr Ramos have helped me greatly. He comes from the Bible and offers Godly council. In between sessions he provides additional tools and resources to keep me focused on the LORD and healing. He listens and is kind not rushing our time but allowing the Holy Spirit to lead him in prayer before during and at the end of the sessions. He recommends combining our therapy sessions with reading Gods Word, prayer, fasting, fellowship with believers and Pastoral confession. This powerful combination has been an attack on the enemy and victory in my life. I am grateful to be getting better. Thank you Dr. Ramos

   I love that Dr. Ramos leads every session with prayer and is intentional with his guidance(Holy Spirit guidance). He takes no glory for himself and he gives it all to God. He has given me clear and concise steps to get my marriage back on track. He was accommodating and spoke in a clear and composed fashion.      Dr. Ramos was supportive and encouraging during my time of counseling regarding my family situation. God’s presence was with us each time we had our zoom sessions starting and ending with prayers. I am thankful to God for Dr. Ramos who shared godly wisdom and spiritual direction. Also, the Word of God has been my foundation on how the Holy Spirit speaks to me, and I kept up my daily reading, meditating and obeying the actions God spoke to me about during my challenges and conflict with my family. I knew God cares about our families and He has a plan for each person in our family. I give God praise and glory that the family issues were resolved after several weeks of completely trusting Him and much prayers. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the counseling sessions with Dr. Ramos. Prov 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Praise God, my experience with Rise to Light Counseling was excellent.

For me it was edifying! Because I am a recent convert, I do not have enough experience or knowledge about the spiritual world and the battle that is directed mainly to those who are converts.

There were areas of my life that when Dr. Eduardo explained or prayed for these areas that brought me discomfort! But they were areas that needed to be addressed and I didn't even know that these areas had so much influence in my life.

After counseling I began to have dialogue with my daughter that before only ended in fights and arguments. I even had a fight with her that caused her to leave the house and then came back the same day, thanks to the counseling I received.

I separated from my husband and there was no possibility of a return, until I was able to understand through the Word the importance of the family in the spiritual life and I began to see it with other eyes. Today my ex-husband has a girlfriend, and recently I had the first conversation with him about our marriage, where I asked for forgiveness for all my mistakes as a woman and spoke of the importance that today our family has for God. I told him, and it is not a lie! That I give my life and that of my family every day so that they have the opportunity to serve God. And I believe that the time will come! And God is already preparing my family to receive this blessing.

This is only happening thanks to God for directing me to Dr. Eduardo, so that I could be awakened and strengthened spiritually and emotionally.
